Wedding Cinema

Intro: Everybody wants their wedding day to be special. Romantic locations, beautiful flowers, gorgeous dress… nothing gets overlooked. When it comes to preserving the memories of that ‘perfect day’ most couples will spend a lot of time finding a photographer who can do it justice.

When it comes to video many people offer a service that is very basic and lacking any kind of production value or planning. One man turns up with a camera and runs around catching everything on the fly. For many people this is perfectly adequate and its not that we’re particularly averse to these kind of videos, it’s just not the way we like to do it.

Our approach:  We shoot your wedding like a movie.  We meet with our leading man and his leading lady and find out what they want to see in their film. We don’t run around with one camera and rely on guesswork.  We carefully plan what needs to be captured (with the bride and groom in advance of the ceremony), visit the locations at the same time of day that filming will take place in order that we can block out camera movement, observe light levels and check on any issues there might be for sound recording.

When the big event arrives we will turn up ready for a multiple camera shoot and after a long day of gathering material we’ll cut together a beautiful movie that is all about you. A beautifully shot and edited film that you can watch over and over again.

Pre-Production

• 2 hour meeting with bride & groom to assess filming approach and requirements.
• A written treatment for how your wedding day will be committed to film.
• 1 day of prep at wedding ceremony and reception locations.

 

 

Production

• 3 camera shoot with professional sound recording. Material captured to include preparations on the day, the ceremony, secret bride & groom shoot, filming of reception, speeches and cake cutting.

 

 

 

 

Post-Production

• Editing of footage into 30 minute film.
• DVD build.

We are based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, but regularly shoot all over the U.K including Wakefield, Huddersfield, Bradford, Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and London.
